Poetry, prose and art submissions collected and organized for the Recognition 2 zine; trans and queer writing on sexual harm.
This project included typesetting; layout; creating vector graphics and preparing the files for both print and digital publication.
Crediting the artists and poets who submitted pieces for this zine, the project of ”Recognition 2” was collaborated with WAVAW as their second ever Recognition zine. The zine is meant to shine a light on queer, trans, non-binary and 2-spirit victims of sexual harm. Because of this, light and soft pastel gradients were added throughout as transitional, or ”breather” pages in between the many heavy subjects.
This 40 page volunteer publication was created for the non-for-profit organization WAVAW in Vancouver, BC. You can find it here.
